Highway 57 Project - 2026 Construction Resumption

The construction crew has essentially completed the few remaining tasks from the Fall construction period and is now ready to hit it hard and complete the project!  Construction will begin on April 20 starting just to the South of the Elementary school.  Pipe sections have already been delivered to the starting portions of the project and manholes are coming next.

The goal is to be essentially complete by Memorial Day, but we'll see what Murphy has to say about it.  Either way, we'll keep you updated along the way and are committed to completing this project with as little disruption to normal activities as possible.  Progress should be much more rapid due to a shallower dig and the experience gained thus far.

Paving driveway entrances will occur in the spring/summer 2026.

We will continue to alert homes and businesses along the excavation path when work is imminent and will keep any disruptions a short as possible.
